Story first, pixels second
A logo without a story is just a shape. Before I open Figma, I want to know who you serve, what you stand for, and what the ten-year version of your brand looks like.
About
the designer behind the fable
I'm a graphic designer and illustrator working out of Virginia. Rose Fable is the studio I built so the two halves of my craft could finally share an address — calm, structured branding on one side, soft character work on the other.
I started this practice because the brands and characters that stay with me all share one trait: someone gave them time. Time to listen, to sketch, to discard, to refine. I work the same way. Each project gets a real conversation, real iteration, and real care.
My faith shapes how I work — quiet attention, honest counsel, and the long view. The verse on every page (Ecclesiastes 3:11) isn't decoration. It's the standard.

What I Believe
I
A logo without a story is just a shape. Before I open Figma, I want to know who you serve, what you stand for, and what the ten-year version of your brand looks like.
II
A character isn't one drawing. It's a mark, an expression sheet, a palette, and a body that holds together at any size. Same goes for a brand.
III
I'd rather build one slow, intentional brand than crank out three rushed ones. Quality compounds — speed only ever wears off.
Tools of the Trade
Software changes, the craft doesn't. These are the tools I keep returning to.
Brand systems, layout, and client handoff.
Character work, sketches, and painted illustration.
Vector logos, posters, and clean line work.
Templates and quick collateral for client teams.
